The Android app is still in deep beta and unfortunately far from stability and reliability.
I’m not going to blame the developers for that. Instead, I’d like to add an idea for much simpler although very useful application. A widget, actually. One simple input form to add a task straight from the home screen.
Just like those widgets for twitter, facebook, tons of them. A form and a submit button. Optionally — drafts cache in case there’s no internet connection.
Nowdays the simplest way is to DM from Android twitter client, which is much more difficult.

Don’t know if you guys heard, new beta is supposed to be out this week. I prefer to hope that this is the one that makes us say YEAH! :)
Hello back everyone – the beta will be out tomorrow. Had to test it for a longer while to make sure we won’t break it. It will be posted on our development blog this week and on the Android Market next week.
I have just downloaded the new Nozbe App – another Beta after 9 months since the first.
After many releases the old style Beta eventually stopped crashing on my 2 Android phones. I have not thrashed the new one but it doesn’t seem to crash either now. Correction – went off to use other apps, came back to Nozbe and screen was frozen. Eventually it brought up the Android Force Restart dialogue. Not good.
Functionally the Next Actions list is not in the same order as the web version I see. And there is still no ability to move actions relative to one another so the list of actions is the order I want to see. This makes it of no use to me at all. The iPhone app has had this functionality for a very long time. Nozbe offer no other way to sort a list so its essential.
Still no Landscape and, perhaps less important these days, no move to SD card.
You wait months/years for Nozbe to get a grip on Android and its still not there. It may be a better base on which to build, it may not, but essentially its another buggy and functionally deficient release.

I don’t see why not. Lots of programmers create great Android apps. It is to Nozbe’s deep shame that they promised a working Android app in the summer of 2010 and now we are nearly 2012 and they still struggle.
